Dr. Justin Olsen is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and founder of Mission Oral Surgery and Implant Center in San Antonio, Texas. He provides specialized surgical care to patients throughout San Antonio, Stone Oak, Bulverde, New Braunfels, and surrounding communities.

Education and Surgical Training
Dr. Olsen earned his Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship from Utah State University in 2008.
He continued his dental education at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2012.
Following dental school, Dr. Olsen entered the U.S. Army Dental Corps and completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency through the National Capital Consortium at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, in 2017.
His hospital-based surgical training provided experience in anesthesia, corrective jaw surgery, facial reconstruction, and the treatment of complex oral and maxillofacial conditions.
Military Service and Professional Experience
During his active-duty service in the United States Army, Dr. Olsen treated a wide range of complex surgical cases, including facial reconstruction, corrective jaw procedures, and tracheostomies for trauma patients requiring long-term care.
After completing his residency, he relocated to San Antonio, where he mentored Army and Air Force oral and maxillofacial surgery residents at Brooke Army Medical Center, a Level I trauma center.
During this time, he continued developing his expertise in oral and facial reconstruction and advanced dental implant procedures, including All-on-4 treatment using remote anchorage techniques.
Following several years in private practice, Dr. Olsen founded Mission Oral Surgery and Implant Center to provide personalized surgical care to patients throughout the San Antonio community.
